Lauren Brown is a percussionist, known for her invention of “tap dance drumming.” She has toured the world extensively, playing festivals such as Bonnaroo, ACL, Bumbershoot, Firefly, Gasparilla, SXSW, The Great Escape. In her career, Brown has made numerous television appearances and collaborated with artists such as Beck, Mike McCready (Pearl Jam), Shakey Graves and Joy Downer. She is a celebrated performer and is widely recognized as one of the most important female drummers in music history.
